We are so freakin excited to move! We are leaving on Friday night and taking a few days to travel across the country and see my cousins and their new babies-it seems like we have been waiting for this for so long and I am so glad we are doing it! fun news/bad news
Which news do you want first?
The bad news is my grandma passed yesterday so I am flying to Nebraska to be with my mom and the rest of the fam. It is sad but I suppose it is the circle of life. I am more sad for my mom bc I can’t imagine loising your mother….it will be nice to see everyone though and celebrate her life.

So we are back from skiing and I did not want to come home! It was so hard to get on the flight back to Dayton. The mountains were beautiful and it makes me want to live in denver or somewhere in that vicinty! Denver would be badass and I could kick it like they did on the real world.The people are so laid back and the air is so fresh and the skys are so blue! There are none of those things...

xmas!
So I got my christmas gift from jason last night- a ski trip to crested butte!! I am so excited-we are staying at the grand lodge there which on the slopes. 200 yards from the lift! and i got him an ornament with his and dogs’s face on it….an ornament! well, I did get him a few other things too….ski slopes and sore thighs here I come!
Also, like half of Dayton has been laid off...
nutcracker!
I went to the nutcracker this weekend and it was so fantastical. I love the ballet, and it really makes me want to be a ballerina-though I am not the right porportions….I also found out Heather and I are both Dane Cook lovers which makes me happy! I’ll be back in texas in 3 days-sweet. home sweet home.

I am equally excited as Heather about the game on Saturday. I can’t wait and am soooo excited we are #2!!! We’re going to roadhouse before the game and the hustler store earlier on saturday. So basically saturday=sex, steak, beer, and football. Does it get better than that?

niagara falls
We went up to canada last weekend for our anniversary and we had so much fun. The falls were ok, but I liked going to the wineries and driving by the lake much better. Imagine that I would like drinking wine better than staring at a waterfall! We went to a casino that was kind of neat but everything is so expensive in canada you can barely enjoy anything. $10 for a glass of wine-are you for real?!...

I definitely understand the cold thing. There is no fall in ohio, which is my favorite season, it just goes from summer to cold. It got down to 40 last night. In the summer it doesn’t really go past 93 degrees though so that is nice. When people here complain about the heat I’m like, you have no idea! People here are so oblivious to the rest of the world….
labor day weekend

Went to chicago this weekend, and loved it! I seriously want to live there-it’s the best city I’ve ever been to-better then New York even! We did some shopping, went on an architecture cruise and the zoo, and ate and drank the rest of the time. There happened to be an air show in town so we got to see some of that which was great! Good times…I’ll post pics sometime this...
